Celebrate Oktoberfest with authentic German music, contests and a delicious menu of Oktoberfest themed delights + our FESTBIER!

NOON: Taproom opens with FESTBIER Beer on Tap and available in our Festbier 1L Tankards! We ordered MORE this year!! German Style Food Specials (*while supplies last) 

5:00-9:00PM: Live music from Appalachian Freunde Polka Band, an authentic German band! 

6:00PM: Tapping of the Oktoberfest Festbier Cask! *Must have a Festbier Tankard to participate: 

6:30PM: COMPETITIONS BEGIN! 

630-7PM: The Grain Toss - Men and Women's competitions. The furthest toss from both Men and Women's events WIN prizes! 

7PM: Hoisting Contest - Women and Men will compete separately in a single round of hoisting. Winners take home a Steel Hands prize! 

8PM: Costume Contest! Contest winners 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place take home prizes! *Decided upon from the stage by crowd applause. 

Steel Hands FESTBIER: Artfully brewed in collaboration with a renowned Master Brewer. A traditional Oktoberfest style lager, our Festbier is a deep golden color, with a beautifully balanced malt forward profile amidst a delicate addition of German noble hops to create a clean lager finish. Our FESTBIER was brewed with generous quantities of German Munich and Vienna malts. *Steel Hands FESTBIER Logo 1L Tankards will be on sale all day (limited quantities).
