10th Annual Tartan Day South

3/31/2022 - 4/3/2022

Description

A Decade of the Tartan Day South Celtic Festival Tartan Day South honors the Celtic culture and heritage in South Carolina’s Midlands region. The traditions of the United Kingdom – Ireland, Scotland and England are showcased. The main event is in Cayce at the Historic Columbia Speedway on Saturday. Other free and paid events are held in West Columbia, Cayce and Lexington. The event is held to benefit the nonprofit River Alliance, which strives to connect people to our rivers – Broad, Saluda and Congaree – while protecting these bodies of water.

10th Annual Tartan Day South Celebration is a four-day event honoring Celtic heritage in our area. The festival is an array of different events at many different venues featuring unique sports, incredible music, great foods and interactive as well as interesting exhibitions.

Since 2011, this one-of-a-kind event in the midlands has drawn nearly 72,500 patrons. Come join us in celebrating the contributions of Scottish and Irish Americans and the culture they love that brings such great fun for all ages right here at home!
