WMN - Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Programs announces Tony Tam as incoming president and CEO

The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Programs Board of Directors has selected Tony Tam as its new President & CEO, effective June 22, following the retirement of Timothy James. With more than 30 years of experience in tourism, economic development, and business advocacy, Tam brings extensive leadership experience and strong ties to the Midlands business community.

Throughout his career, Tam has served in numerous leadership roles, including Chairman of the South Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association Executive Board and Chairman of Experience Columbia. Chamber leaders expressed confidence in his ability to build on the Chamber’s success and continue supporting local businesses, advocacy efforts, and economic growth throughout the Greater Cayce-West Columbia region. James will assist with the transition by serving as a mentor during Tam’s onboarding process.
