Keep the Midlands Beautiful is a nonprofit affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and PalmettoPride located in West Columbia serving both Lexington and Richland counties. Our mission is to educate, inspire and empower citizens to improve the places where they live, work and play through...
- litter prevention,
- recycling, and
- beautification efforts.
We recruit and coordinate approximately 6,000 volunteers each year who participate in seven litter prevention programs, three recycling programs, one or more beautification projects each year, and environmental education. We invite businesses, groups, and individuals to volunteer with us, to donate, and/or to sponsor our programs and events.
