focused on leadership, strategy, and understanding how the system works.

Our featured speaker, former SC Senator Vincent Sheheen, will take us inside his new book,
 The Concise Guide to South Carolina State Government. Designed to demystify 
the inner workings of state leadership, this conversation will unpack how decisions are 
made, how policy impacts business, and what every engaged citizen should
know about governing in the Palmetto State.

Guiding the conversation is guest moderator Joel Lourie — retired SC Senator, 
owner of Lourie Life & Health, and host of the award-winning podcast Bourbon in the Back Room. 
With decades of experience inside the State House and a reputation for thoughtful, 
engaging dialogue, Joel will lead a discussion that goes beyond headlines and into real insight.
