Volunteer: Parade Day and Holiday Parade of Lights

Description


We would love to have your help on Parade Day! In addition to the annual Holiday Parade of Lights, the Chamber is hosting a full Parade Day in the CWC. We will have the North Pole set up here at the Chamber office as well as stops around downtown Cayce-West Columbia encouraging visitors to spend the day with us, hop on and off the shuttle and visit the participating businesses. The Parade Day shuttle and the North Pole will be open from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. 

Listed below are our volunteer needs; if you are available and would like to join us for a shift, please let us know!

Please register with the time slot you would prefer and your t-shirt size or email us at events@cwcchamber.com:

  • Wednesday, November 13th, 3:00 to 6:00 pm: Chamber of Commerce Decorating (4)
  • Monday, November 25th, 4:00 to 6:00 pm: Holiday Love Local Ceremony (4)
  • Monday, December 2nd, 5:30 to 6:30 pm: Driver Meeting Registration (2)
  • Friday, December 13th, 4:00 to 9:00 pm: Movie Night at BCHS (4)
  • Saturday, December 14th, 8:30 to 12:30: Parade Day Set Up (6)
  • Saturday, December 14th, 12:00 to 4:00 pm: Parade Day – Kid’s Corner, Trolley, Market (6)
  • Saturday, December 14th, 1:30 to 5:30 pm: Holiday Parade of Lights Staging (8-10)
    The MOST important volunteer duty of the day – this is specifically for assertive, organized individuals. You will have a meeting prior to your volunteer shift to over your duties with the Parade Staging Committee
  • Saturday, December 9th, 3:30 to 7:30 pm: Parade Day Clean Up, Parade of Lights Set Up, Reception (6)
  • Saturday, December 9th, 4:30 to 8:30 pm: Parade Staging Assist, Parking/Safety Attendant (4)


We would not be able to pull this off alone - any time you may be able to spare to volunteer would be so greatly appreciated, even if it's just for an hour. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call at the Chamber Office!
